About the NEXUS Agenda
The NEXUS Agenda presents itself as an innovative and ambitious project, led by the Port of Sines, aimed at implementing a digital and sustainable future for ports and value chains in Portugal.
This consortium, which brings together 35 organizations, including exporters, logistics and transportation operators, technology companies, and innovation and research entities, has the primary goal of promoting the digital and ecological transition of the transportation and logistics sector.
At the heart of the NEXUS Agenda is the development of 31 new innovative products and services focused on cutting-edge technologies such as open data, artificial intelligence, 5G, cybersecurity, and predictive models.
Digital Innovation Agenda to Transform Logistics and Port Operations in Portugal
The NEXUS Agenda’s approach aims to transform port and logistics operations, significantly enhancing the competitiveness of Portuguese ports in the international arena.
This agenda thus represents a decisive step in the modernization and efficiency of the Portuguese port and logistics sector.
By promoting decarbonization and digitalization, the project not only addresses the current challenges of energy and digital transition but also positions Portugal at the forefront of innovation in the maritime-port sector, paving the way for a more sustainable and competitive future.
Devlop's Contribution to the NEXUS Agenda
Devlop is one of the participating organizations in the NEXUS Agenda, playing a prominent role in developing various products within the Nexus Smart Logistics (WP5).
This work package includes five independent but interconnected projects focused on the digitalization and integration of transportation and logistics services, both in the hinterland and foreland, directly linked to port activities.
The Nexus Smart Logistics (WP5) is a fundamental component of the NEXUS Agenda and aims to position itself as a change driver, promoting the adoption of emerging technologies in this sector.
By developing new products specifically designed for this global ecosystem, WP5 aims to transform the market and strengthen efficiency and connectivity in logistics and transportation operations.
Devlop’s participation in this work package reinforces its commitment to innovating and contributing to the modernization of logistics and port operations, aligning with the objectives of the NEXUS Agenda.
